smsBuddy is a free, personal hobby project that sends plain-text daily weather forecast summaries by SMS, sourced from the National Weather Service API. It is not a commercial product.
By subscribing, you confirm that you are the owner or authorized user of the mobile phone number you provide, and that you are at least 13 years of age.
By subscribing, you consent to receive recurring automated SMS text messages from smsBuddy at the phone number you provide. Message frequency is approximately 2–4 messages per day, as forecast updates are received from NWS. Message & data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier plan.
To cancel your subscription at any time, reply STOP to any message from smsBuddy. After texting STOP, you will receive one final confirmation message and then no further messages. To re-subscribe, text START or visit this website again.

You may not use smsBuddy for any unlawful purpose. You may not attempt to interfere with the service or use it to send or receive messages on behalf of others without their consent.
smsBuddy is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator of smsBuddy shall not be liable for any damages arising from use of or inability to use the service.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
